Shipping Within the Contiguous United States

Free shipping is an available option ONLY for orders being delivered inside Contiguous United States. Express shipping can be selected during checkout. Express shipping or any other shipping charges will not be reduced as a result of opting to forfeit free shipping.

Items being shipped to a freight forwarder in the state of Florida will only have Sales Tax refunded when we have received documentation from the freight forwarder showing the package is scheduled for export to another country.

Shipping Internationally or Outside Contiguous United States

Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other U.S. Territories and military addresses may be subject to additional shipping charges for USPS shipping. This charge will be stated in our description and will cover USPS mail shipping, if another shipping method is desired this must be selected during checkout. In the event additional shipping funds are due, you will be contacted by a customer service representative for payment. If the item exceeds dimensional restrictions for USPS (6’ radar antennas, larger satellite TV domes, etc), it may have to go with DHL which is a more expensive shipping method with less dimensional restrictions.

If we are not able to ship an item, customers are always able to arrange freight shipping at their own expense or contact us for assistance with booking a freight shipment.

We ship most of our smaller International orders via USPS International First Class Mail to keep shipping costs down for our customers. This service takes an average of 3 weeks, but may take longer. We ask that our customers allow up to 6 weeks for delivery. We would like our customers to be prepared for a 6 week ship time. You do have the opportunity during checkout to request an expedited shipping method if a speedy delivery is needed. Additionally, USPS International First Class does not offer tracking throughout the entire shipping process. Packages may be scanned once in the United States and not scanned again until they are delivered, or may not be scanned at all. Please note, International First Class mail service is not as fast or as traceable as other more expensive methods. If expedited shipping is required please select an expedited method during checkout.

Most orders will ship within one business day, if any change or correction needs to be made to your order, please do so by phone and email immediately (taking different time zones into account, phone calls might not always be an available option). We are available Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM EST.

On larger and more expensive items, we may ship either through USPS International Priority Express or DHL Express. We will cover additional expenses when possible, both of which offer better tracking and insurance.

Please provide full, accurate addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. This information is needed to collect duty and customs charges for some carriers. Without this information, your package may be delayed or worse. If you cannot be contacted this may result in packages being returned to our warehouse. In this instance, you will not be refunded for shipping and if the item is still wanted you will be responsible for a second shipping charge.

Please be advised once a package leaves our store we have no control over the delivery time. All USPS international delivery times are subject to delays due to customs and the speed, organization and reliability of the destination country’s postal service. Please track all international packages on USPS.com. We are able to view only the same information visible to our customers on USPS.com.

International shipping times cannot be guaranteed regardless of the level service purchased. Please be advised that any package held by government officials at customs for any reason can and possibly will delay shipping. Customs agents supersede the permissions of all carriers and have the right at any time to detain a package. In the event that this occurs, shipping refunds cannot be issued. We are not refunded by the carrier for weather or other reasons outside of any carrier’s control. Ship time is actually calculated by the number of days a package is in a carrier’s possession, customs / government holds do not count toward this time. This information can be seen on USPS.com.

We will not falsify any customs documents or forms. The price paid for an item is the price that will be reflected on shipping documents. Any requests to falsify customs documents will be ignored.

International customers are responsible for all customs and duty fees imposed by their government. This is not included in shipping charges or the cost of the item. If buyers are unaware and would like to know what these additional fees will be, please contact the destination postal service or try to get an estimation online.

Please provide all address information in English. This helps us to avoid auto correct errors that could possibly result in shipping delays.

When a customer chooses to ship with a freight forwarder we will provide the original invoice. We will not adjust invoices. When a freight forwarder is used, we are not responsible for any additional documentation, delays or fees. Once the package is delivered to the freight forwarder, the item is no longer our responsibility.

Expedite Shipping

Standard shipping is the only “FREE” option, these items will be shipped with the carrier of our choosing.

If expedited shipping is needed or there is a need for a specific carrier, this can be requested during checkout at an additional cost. Orders placed by 2pm EST Monday through Friday will be shipped same day, (except on rare occasions or holidays. For a complete list of holidays please call 754-220-6565 and a customer service representative will explain these days in detail). In the event your order was placed by 2pm EST Monday through Friday with expedited shipping paid for and your item did not ship, please contact customer service so your shipping can be prorated (this will not include holidays, delays due to natural occurring events outside of our control or shipping address errors).

Misc Shipping Information

Orders placed prior to 2PM EST Monday-Friday will ship during the same business day. During a holiday or in the event of an occurrence outside of our control, i.e. extreme weather conditions or a local power outage, orders may experience a shipping delay.

All packages over $500 will require a signature for delivery, please be aware of this policy as there are no exceptions, this is for everyone’s protection. Please provide a delivery address where someone will be available to sign for these packages upon delivery.

Tracking numbers will be available and emailed within one business day of orders being paid for. On the rare occasion that your order is not shipped within one business day you will be notified.

We always attempt to choose reliable carrier services and package items as safely and securely as possible. Rarely, an accident may happen outside of our control. In the event that a package is damaged, delayed or lost in shipping, please contact us immediately. We will contact the carrier and work with our buyers to come up with the best possible solution.

Company Policies

For all tax exempt customers, please be sure to email an up-to-date Florida Resale Certificate to info@sea-tronics.com prior to placing your order. With your email please include the following: purchaser name; email address; phone number; the business credit card billing address and a shipping address. After receiving your email, a Seatronics associate will create and email a user name and password for the company to use. The company account will be set up for tax free resale purchases through the expiration date on the Florida Resale Certificate we were emailed. Please note, for your safety Seatronics will not retain any credit card information on our website, this information will need to be reentered each time an order is placed.

During checkout please verify that the billing address entered matches the exact address your credit card company has on file for you. If this information does not match your purchase will be declined.

Any errors in shipping addresses will delay shipping. Please be sure to type your address accurately.

All orders placed by 2PM EST Monday-Friday will be shipped the same day. On rare occasions this may be impossible due to holidays, weather occurrences resulting in local power outages that prevent shipping or in extreme cases, weather that forces USPS/UPS/DHL to freeze operations.
