Sea-Tronics is an absolute Unicorn of a find. I had a Simrad Evo3 that Simrad tech support was pretty much telling me to throw in the trash. I’m up in Rhode Island and all electronics dealers telling me the same. I got A hold of Sea- Tronics Jason and Mike They said send it down if we can’t fix it or it’s to much for me to spend it would cost me $100 plus shipping back. How can you go wrong an oil change on a car these days can cost that. Jason sent me an estimate and for short money it’s like A brand new machine rather then spending 4K on a new one. Absolutely love the turnaround time and how professional the company is. Lastly the return shipped package could have been dropped from a FedEx helicopter for delivery and nothing would have happened to it. Can’t say enough about these guys and how happy I am

Customer service was over the top!!I was in a bind. Some oft electronics failed during a long passage. I only had 2 1/2 weeks to get ready for the next long leg. It seemed like a small window to expect having my electronics shipped, repaired then shipped back. It all happened in less than 2 weeks. Mike and Jason were instrumental in making happen. Jason and Michael at Sea- Tronics are incredible! They diagnosed my Furuno VX-1 had a fried mother board, repaired it in a timely manner and returned it to me. When i reinstalled the chartplotter i still encountered issues and Michael spend alot of time on the phone working through possible solutions. He suggested maybe a lightening strike nearby during storage might have fried the Gp-37 that supplied the signal to the chartplotter. More phone time and he suggested bringing the chartplotter and GP-37 down to them and they would check it out while I waited. Turned Gp-37 -was partially fried also so Micheal suggested a work around by using a different GPS Antenna. Reinstalled, changed a couple of settings in the chartplotter and we are all good. These guys are that rare commodity in Florida with having the technical expertise and customer service to take care of their customers. Great service and support.I had an issue with a MMDS display and Mike at SeaTronics was willing to discuss the issue and recommend corrective and preventive action. Once I reinstalled I had a wire not connected properly, I left a message on the website and I got a call back from Mike on a SUNDAY to help me correct my error. If an Item is no longer in production; they say sorry there is nothing we can do and try to sell you the latest expensive model. Thank God I found you guys. June 2002I shipped my Ratheon RL70 chart plotter to Sea-Tronics to have the screen replace due to a "burn" mark in the center a result of prolonged exposure to direct sun light. An approximate two-week turnaround time to get and then reinstall the unit. Its appearance and clarity are now like new. Rather than investing thousands of dollars to replace an older system with a new one, the option of screen replacement through Sea-Tronics at fraction of the cost is enormous relief. Sent two Furuno units for possible repair from my boat purchased new 2006. Thought it might be lightening that burned out the screens. Sea-Tronics was confident they could repair. Me not so much. Got quotes for new Garmin and from another Marine electronics company who suggested Sea-Tronics. Received them back after a few weeks and just installed them. They both booted up perfectly even retaining all my fishing spots I’d marked. They came back packed in bubble wrap plus popcorn foam all around. I bought a Simrad gps depth finder from Sea-Tronics that first tried to fix my old unit but unfortunately it was shot.Now this is a higher end piece of electronics that cost over $5000 and I really was puzzled on what to do.One of their staff members Jason was extremely helpful and actually forwarded all my questions to the owner of the company Mike.Mike made this much more understandable to me which was way above my pay grade.I run a very busy Charterboat business in Fort Lauderdale and I really needed someone to hold my hand through this purchase.Quite honestly Mike was a little bit over $100 more than where I could’ve bought it for a little bit of a discount at one of the big retail stores however knowing Mike was by my side really made it worth my while to spend just over $100 more.I’ve had some problems with my debt finder after the purchase but Mike personally came over to my house showed me what the problem was which had nothing to do with the Simrad fine it was actually my wiring Mike fixed my problem I tried to pay him he would not take my money.I’ve gotta say it reminds me of the old days when things are done with the handshake I would recommend this company to Any and everybody really down to earth people that are very knowledgeable on the electronics.Captain taco from hooked Up sport fishing in Fort Lauderdale.Thanks again to all the staff I really appreciate all the help and I had no idea all the stuff my equipment could do for me Mike really taught me How to make the most of the equipment that I boss much more than I ever knew I had.

A Raymarine dealer in Naples said I had to replace the whole unit including the sounder module. Sea-Tronics repaired the screen and determined the module was working. Great customer service, superior technical knowledge and fast turn around. This company was recommended by a large marine electronics manufacturer to my professional installer for work on my Simrad autopilot systems. They called to address an issue BEFORE it became a problem and resolved it quickly and well, including making an excellent recommendation on how to proceed. In this day and age of "throw away, buy new" it is a real joy to find folks who actually work on stuff. Not just for some of the cost savings realized, but more for the elimination of huge installation costs like new cable runs, new mounts, new compatibility issues, etc. etc. As a more than 40 year boater and veteran of the industry I highly recommend these guys. They answer the phone, know their stuff and seem to have reasonable prices.

I purchased a new sailboat in February and discovered that the Icom M504A VHF had a burnt-out display, rendering it almost impossible to use. They could have charged me more but said the additional repair to my FURUNO navigation net ball wasn't necessary saving me $175. They replaced the LCD screen just $500 and it is better than new. Sea-Tronics USA was recommend to me for repair of my 11 year old Ray Marine Auto Pilot ST6001. I sent it to them. I interacted with Jason who provided me timely repair updates, and Mike, the repair Technician that identified the problem with my unit. Both were very helpful, especially Mike who explained the problem with my unit and later helped me tune my unit. I am very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them for repair of marine electronic devices.

Mike and the team at Sea-Tronics are truly old school and give boating and electronics a good name. Thank you Mike for going above and beyond to find the parts and repair my Raymarine equipment. So happy to work with you and the fact that you simply do not see older equipment and immediately want to throw it out for new. Fabulous business, cannot highly recommend Mike and Sea-Tronics enough. This is one number that every boater and boat owner should have in their speed dial. Will definitely use again for all of my boats. These guys are the best of the best.
